I cut the bottom of a toilet paper roll and glued and taped it to a piece of cardboard. I then taped several strips of construction paper to the top of the tube for hanging branches.
We used yellow, red, and orange paint. She wasn't as interested in painting the leaves so our tree is a little bare...but that's a fall tree I guess!
